 Our sports massages are advanced, as we focus on managing pain & injuries, rather than just preventing them. Our techniques offer the the same level of standard as physiotherapists during their manual work. The only difference is that we don't offer a diagnoses.

 

Just remember - You don't have to be in pain to receive a treatment - it's just as beneficial for regular upkeep to reach optimum performance and health to prevent muscle tightness and weakness.​

What is involved? Deep tissue techniques, muscle energy techniques (adding resistance to strengthen muscles), and soft tissue release (stretching isolated muscle groups to improve joint mobility). You may be asked to actively move and contract isolated muscles yourself, therefore the treatment isn't passive, compared to deep tissue. So don't be expecting to switch off for this one!

Ideal for repetitive strain, injuries, weight training/ gym go-ers, if your job involves bending the spine or heavy lifting, desk job workers, general maintenance.  â€‹

Ideal if your muscles are weak, restricted movement, pain when moving e.g. abducting the shoulder of flexing the head, or if you sit at a desk all day.​
